Agreement to the use of my personal data
Please note: This translation of the ŽAgreement to the use of my personal dataŽ is meant as an as good as possible rendering of the German Text; in case of differences however, solely the German text is binding.
1. I agree that onGen may process and use my personal data (inventory data) as provided by me and may use them, for example, to enable automatic search and administration of my user data. Cookies are used, for example, to welcome me personally at onGen with my name.
2. I agree that as far as need arises in certain cases, onGen (using existing documented real criterions) may collect, process, and use inventory and user data necessary do detect and avert fraudulent and other unlawful or in breach of contract use of onGen services. For this same reason onGen may, among other methods with the help of cookies, collect, process and use user data in such a way that from the total of all activities those may be detected that show real tokens of fraudulent intent.
3. I agree that bills sent to me by onGen contain details like, for example, time, type, duration and/or content of my chargeable use of the onGen web pages.
4. As far as disclosure of my data is restricted by law, esp. by the BDSG, I agree that onGen
- is allowed to disclose my personal data to an extent deemed necessary to criminal prosecution and regulatory authorities to avert danger to national and public security as well as for the prosecution of fraud.
5. I agree that my personal data may be used for comparison with the member lists of genealogical associations to entitle me to discounts.
6. I agree that onGen also processes and uses my personal data to provide me with customized offers for my use of onGen online. Offers per e-mail, phone, fax, or SMS are not permitted.
7. onGen has the right to change or amend this privacy policy with due notice. Notice will be given on the Internet exclusively by publishing it on the onGen pages (http://www.ongen.de). If the user does not agree with the changed or amended policy within 4 weeks after publishing it on the Internet the changed or amended policy will become effective. Does the user object within the set time onGen has the right to terminate the contract at the date the changed or amended policy would become effective.
I can revoke this agreement any time with immediate effect by email to Robert@krebber.org Re: Revoke privacy policy agreement. A revocation of this agreement will cancel the entire contract.
